So folks I am back from my ou tof state gig, and well I cannot tell you how much I enjoyed seeing these soldiers smile and for a little while just have a good time.
We were unfortunately rained out, but that didnt damper our spirits at all!
I played my guitar acoustic for the troops, we laughed together, shared similiar memories and cried together.
I cant get over how young these kids are and how brave and awesome they are too..some are so wounded mentally and physically I wanted to take them all home with me and take care of them. I wanted them to know that we havent forgotten them and that I will do whatever I can to support them and spread the word and to tell all of you too adopt a soldier if you can.
I want to thank some very special people.
First off the people at Operation You Rock, though the bureacrtic BS is still wonderfully strong, you managed to pull off a good day.
Thank you for what you do for these troops.

((JASON)) you volenteered your time and equipment to rock out Walter Reed, WOW!!! And thank you for serving our country as well.
Thank you man, you are no wand forever my brother.
((TOMMY)) you rock, thanks so much for helping out with the sound and making sure we were all good to go, and rocking, too bad the rain came.

My band, you guys rock, you didnt have to stay and you let me stay and bond with my fellow soldiers not once did you push me to leave, not once did you put your needs above thiers, you guys are truly my heros and I will never forget this day for as long as I live. Karl thanks so much for filling in for me brother, you are a true musician and a friend.
My troops Claudia, Shytown, Vincent, Jonathan, you guys ROCK!! I promise I will be back. I wont ever forget you, be safe get well!!!
And know I love you all.
To my fans thanks for sharing me with these troops know you guys missed me, and I missed you all too, but they needed me.
I love you all and am so blessed to have fans and freinds like all of you in my life!
Now lets rock out the rest of this summer and year okay?
See you when I get back from vacation.
